Road works scheduled for Lamont Street in Bermagui

Bega Valley Shire Council advises road works will be carried out on Lamont Street from Monday 25 August to Friday 3 October, weather permitting.

Bega Valley Shire Council advises road works will be carried out on Lamont Street from Monday 25 August to Friday 3 October, weather permitting.

Council’s Civil Construction Team will be carrying out road surface stabilisation works between Bermagui River Bridge and Posidonia Esplanade from 7am to 6pm each weekday.

Road surface stabilisation, or pavement stabilisation, involves reinforcing and repairing existing road surface structures, helping create a more reliable and resilient roadway, extending the life of the road and improving safety for drivers.

Changed traffic conditions will be in place for the duration of the works including a reduced speed limit and intermittent lane closures. Road users should expect delays.

Traffic control will be on-site to help road users and pedestrians. Where possible, please advise the crew members on-site of where you need to go and assistance will be provided.
