Road resurfacing works scheduled in Eden next week

Bega Valley Shire Council advises road resurfacing works will be carried out on Storey Avenue and Princes Highway, Eden from Tuesday 12 August to Sunday 17 August, weather permitting.

Bega Valley Shire Council advises road resurfacing works will be carried out on Storey Avenue and Princes Highway, Eden from Tuesday 12 August to Sunday 17 August, weather permitting.

As part of Council’s repair and maintenance program, road resurfacing safeguards road infrastructure investments and contributes to a more sustainable transport network.

These works will strengthen and extend the life of the existing road surface, improving driving conditions and safety for all road users.

Contractors will carry out resurfacing works around the Princes Highway and Storey Avenue intersection.

Works will be carried out between 6am and 5pm each day and there will be no on-street parking during working hours.

Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the works, with access reduced to a single lane. Road users should expect delays.
