Have your say on Council's draft fee for local infrastructure contributions

Council adopted the 2025-26 Fees and Charges in June and there was an error in the fees for local infrastructure contributions (also known as developer contributions) being updated correctly.

On 14 August 2024 Council resolved to adopt a new Bega Valley Shire Local Infrastructure Contribution Plan 2024-2036 (contribution plan) which came into effect on 4 September 2024. The new plan replaced the previous contribution plan that had been in effect since 2014 and was based on an updated methodology for apportioning contributions. The adopted 2025-26 Fees and Charges for developer contributions were not updated to reflect the new contribution plan.

The 2025-26 Fees and Charges (Page 47) has been amended to correct this error and we welcome your feedback. If you have any questions, please reach out through one of the channels listed below.

Proposed Amendments to adopted 2025-26 Fees and Charges

It is proposed to delete the Developers Contribution section on page 47 of the adopted 2025-26 Fees and Charges document and replace with the following:
