Bega Valley Shire Council advises works will be carried out at the Cobargo cemetery from Monday 30 June, to install an internal access road and repair the driveway.
These works should be finalised by the end of that week (Friday 4 July), weather permitting.
As part of a planned renewal program, contractors will be carrying out these works to provide visitors with improved cemetery access.
“We know how important our cemeteries are for the community to stay connected with their loved ones who have passed away, and this project will see improved access for those who visit the Cobargo cemetery,” Director Community, Environment and Planning, Emily Harrison said.
Visitors to the cemetery may experience minor delays, with vehicle access restricted during this time.
We thank you for your patience while these important works are undertaken.
