Council operating hours on the Labour Day public holiday

Bega Valley Shire Council offices will be closed for the Labour Day public holiday on Monday 6 October and will re-open at 9am on Tuesday 7 October.

Bega Valley Shire Council offices will be closed for the Labour Day public holiday on Monday 6 October and will re-open at 9am on Tuesday 7 October.

Customer Service phones will be diverted to our after-hours service during this time.

All Waste and Recycling Centres will be closed on the public holiday. Cleanaway kerbside bin collection will continue as normal.

All shire libraries will be closed on Monday 6 October. After-hours returns bins will remain open and e-resources are available online.

All Children’s Services will be closed on Monday 6 October. Bandara and Eden Early Learning Centres will reopen on Tuesday 7 October, while the Sapphire Mobile Preschool will reopen on Monday 13 October following the school holidays.

On Monday 6 October, the Sapphire Aquatic Centre in Pambula, Bega War Memorial Pool, Candelo, Cobargo and Eden pools will be open from 10am to 5pm.

The Bemboka Pool will be open from 1pm to 5pm on the public holiday.

The Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre and SECCA (South East Centre for Contemporary Art) will both be closed on Monday 6 October.
