At its meeting on 19 February 2025, council resolved to review its local policies in batches. This have your say post concerns the review of batch four of policies.
Under the Local Government Act, councils are required to review their existing policies after each election to ensure the policies are relevant, effective, and fit for purpose. The policies listed below will be exhibited for a minimum period of 28 days (21 August 2025 to 18 September) and submissions be received for 42 days (2 October 2025).
At its meeting on 19 February 2025, Council resolved to review its policies in 4 batches.
The forth batch of policies are now on public exhibition and can be accessed by clicking on the links in the ‘related documents’ section. The draft policies can also be viewed in hard copy at any library branch.
These policies will be exhibited for a period of at 28 days (21 August 2025 to 18 September 2025) and that submissions will be received for 42 days (2 October 2025). A further report be presented to Council on any submissions received, or if no submissions are received, the exhibited policies be adopted and published on Council’s website.
