Montreal Goldfield Committee

Council appointed the Montreal Goldfields Management Committee to the care and management of the Montreal Goldfields site at its Ordinary Meeting on 22 February 2005.

Section 355 of the NSW Local Government Act (1993) allows Council to delegate certain functions to a ‘Committee of the Council.

The Montreal Goldfield Committee manage the day to day running of the facility along with providing guided tours and historical information.
