Temporary closure of Lions Park in Pambula Beach for sewer upgrade works

Bega Valley Shire Council will carry out essential sewer upgrade works at Lions Park in Pambula Beach on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 June, weather permitting.

Bega Valley Shire Council will carry out essential sewer upgrade works at Lions Park in Pambula Beach on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 June, weather permitting.

The entire Lions Park Reserve will be closed for the duration of works to safely install a new sewer pod that will improve the local sewer network and secure against sewer spills.

The closed area will include:

  • Lions Park Reserve, including the access road and parking areas
  • public toilets and showers
  • BBQ and picnic area
  • beach access from the park
  • viewing deck
  • Jiguma Coastal Walking Track access across the reserve.

Access to nearby Pambula Beach and Pambula River mouth will remain open.
